SMS for Consent Communication

The phone numbers obtained as part of the SMS consent process will only be used for communication purposes related to WaPASS services. This information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Types of SMS Communications

By consenting to receive text messages from Washington Pain & Spine Specialists (WaPASS), you may receive communications related to:

  • Customer Care: Appointment reminders, scheduling confirmations, clinic updates, and patient support messages.

Message Frequency

You may receive up to 2–4 text messages per week from WaPASS. Actual frequency may vary depending on appointment activity and patient needs.

Potential Fees for SMS Messaging

Message and data rates may apply. These fees are determined by your mobile carrier and may vary depending on your plan and whether the message is domestic or international.

Opt-In Method

Customers may opt in to SMS messaging from WaPASS verbally during a call initiated through our website (https://washingtonpainandspine.com/). During the call, you will be asked:
“Do you agree to receive texts from Washington Pain & Spine Specialists (WaPASS)? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for help, text STOP to opt out. See our privacy policy at.” No SMS communication will be initiated without explicit customer consent. This consent will not be shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes.

Opt-Out Method

Customers can opt out of SMS messaging from WaPASS at any time by replying STOP to any received text message. Once opted out, you will no longer receive SMS communications from us.

You may opt back in at any time by replying START.
